The Gallery

The Olive Stack Gallery is conveniently situated on Main Street in the heart of the heritage town of Listowel -the ‘literary capital of Ireland’. Since it opened in 1998 it has been a popular attraction for visitors to the town, who come to the Gallery to see Olive’s Painting and Limited Edition Prints. The Olive Stack Gallery hosts ongoing exhibitions of the resident artist’s work, along with occasional Group Shows by established professional artists

Olive Stack

Olive Stack is a native of Listowel. She Graduated from the Limerick College of Art & Design where she studied Painting from 1992-95. She worked for a time as a muralist before establishing the Olive Stack Gallery in 1998, where an ongoing exhibition of her recent work is on view. The subject matter of Olives work can vary from figurative to landscape and architecture. She works in various media including Oil, Watercolor, Pastel and Mosaic. Her internationally recognized paintings have sold to collectors and private individuals. She has exhibited in Ireland, UK, USA and Canada and Olives first book ‘North Kerry the Magic and Legend’ was published in 2006

All of the framing is carried out on the premises.
