We’re better together!
Listowel Tidy Towns Group is a community based voluntary body which was founded in February 1993 in response to many comments about the untidiness of several parts of Listowel at that time.

It was given the working title of T.A.B.L.E. (Towards a Better Listowel Everybody) but is now simply known as Listowel Tidy Towns Group.

The Group has 24 members at present and meets approximately once a fortnight in St Patrick’s Hall.

New members are encouraged to join and take part. From May to September the Group meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7pm at St John’s Theatre. Members, new and old, get involved in painting, litter patrols, weeding and all manner of things. All equipment is provided so anyone interested in helping out just need turn up!

The town’s overall mark has steadily increased annually until, in 2018, Listowel was crowned “Ireland’s Tidiest Town”
