FOROIGE
Foróige is the leading youth organisation in Ireland and has been working with young people since 1952. Our purpose is to enable young people to involve themselves consciously and actively in their development and in the development of society.
In Listowel we focus on a Leadership Programme. In the past we have members that have received a University diploma while still attending secondary school.
Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action from NUIG

The Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action will be awarded to young people age 15-18 who have completed all three modules of Foróige’s Leadership for Life programme.
The group meeting is flexible dependent on those registered.
