Whats on around Listowel
Delivered in partnership with the 31 Local Authorities and supported by RTÉ, you are invited to participate in a programme of fun, free, creative activities; from graffiti art workshops to stop-motion animation, to coding and architecture workshops!

Listowel will play host to 2 Cruinniú na nÓg events suitable for various ages. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.

Little Squirrels Workshop

Join Katie O’Donoghue, art psychotherapist and author/illustrator of the children’s book The Little Squirrel Who Worried, for a creative well-being workshop which combines creative therapeutic activities and storytelling. Participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. This event is suitable for ages 4-10. The workshop takes place at Listowel Community Centre from 10am-11.30am and the storytelling begins at 12.30pm.

Book Making for Kids

Led by Marie Cronin, participants will come up with their own characters, writing a story about them and drawing and colouring their own pictures to fit with the story to create a handwritten mini story/picture book (4-6 pages).
