O'Connors is a long-established Sports bar owned and run by the same local family since 1907. Backing on to The Creamery at the top of William Street, O'Connors was a favoured destination of large numbers of Dairy workers looking for some after-work relaxation in the days before mechanisation.
O'Connors Bar, also known as Mike the Pies, is a traditional bar charmingly decked out with a fascinating array of memorabilia. The pub's walls are lined with huge collection of framed vintage images of Gaelic Sports, the Listowel Races, Listowel Town and the Lartigue Monorail.
O'Connors provide big screen coverage of Sky, Setanta and all big sporting events. There are 4 screens in total.
There is also a Pool Table.
And the pub is also the home of the well-established 'Mike the Pies Golf Society'. The Society's members are active golfers who enjoy 9 outings per year to courses around Ireland and Europe.
There is occasional live music - look out for announcements behind the bar.
O'Connors have a large outdoor courtyard with seating and heating.
Families and children are welcome.
